Youth Crime – combating
the issue
Although there are many excellent programmes introduced to help
industries combat community youth crime, many of them unfortunately
are designed and operated in isolation from each other.
The ethos behind CPS is to create a unified approach in tackling
youth crime, thus dramatically reducing organisational costs.
A unified approach increases the effectiveness of the youth crime
strategy and most importantly generates greater sustainable results.
Strategies created for companies such as Northern
Rail, the UK’ s largest train operating company, have
seen youth crime on its network reduced by over 32% in the
first year and
a further 16% in the second year. Anti-social behaviour incidents
involving company staff also saw a decrease of over 74% in specific
areas. |
